Cor Molenaar turned to PCI for help in improving his English writing and speaking skills. Cor's task is the day-to-day management of the bank's Internet and intranet applications as well as putting in place the necessary security measures. He explains that over the past few years there's been a steady influx of English-speaking IT staff who have little knowledge of Dutch.

"As a result," Cor says, "I felt a need to brush up the little English that I had during my school-days, and be able to speak English at meetings, make myself clear and answer my e-mails in English. Last year my son, who was getting poor marks in English at school, took an English course at PCI and achieved great success, so selecting them was a logical choice."

Today Cor's confidence in speaking and writing English has grown to such an extent that he's decided to bring his language skills up to yet another level. "Well," adds Cor, throwing in a word of caution, "that is, if the bank will let me of course."
